The ground-breaking event will give YOU – the digital and ICT professionals driving the future of the UK’s public services – an unparalleled opportunity to converse and network with your peers and experts leading the way to better place-based outcomes for our citizens and businesses. And, to do so in ways that are ethical and secure.
Speakers, delegates, sponsors and exhibitors from across the country will unite in a celebration of innovation. You want a positive, constructive atmosphere? You want to be part of a joyous, informative and insightful occasion? Look no further than Socitm’s inaugural Presidential Conference.
Welcome to the future of public services: ethical and secureInnovation and automation across the public sector – they’re big, they’re vital, and they’re what we’re going to be focusing on. They hold out the promise to increase productivity and engage citizens, businesses and visitors in improving well-being and achieving better place-based outcomes. But (and here’s the thing): how can we do all this in ways that are ethical and secure?
Learning is funNobody leaves a Socitm event without learning something. On hand at the conference will be QA, the UK's leading learning and skills development organisation. They’ll be running sessions that’ll equip you with the invaluable knowledge we’re all going to need to meet the challenges facing the ICT and digital universe. Additionally, Steve Cliff, Socitm’s own expert coach, will be on site to offer his leadership insights.
Presenting the presidentCometh the month of May, cometh a new president. Nicola Graham, Aberdeenshire Council’s head of ICT, will take over the Socitm presidency at the AGM during the conference. The subsequent President’s Dinner will be a gala evening of food, drink, festivities and digital delights!
Meeting upWe’re also delighted to tell you that Socitm's Local Chief Information Officers (CIO) Council will be meeting at the conference. Plus, the annual meeting of the Socitm regional committees will be held there, too.
