...to Socitm Wales chair Phil Evans (pictured) who was awarded an MBE for services to local government in the Queen’s Birthday honours.
Also to seven Socitm activists who were named in the top 50 CIO list
published by Silicon.com last week. The CIO50 2009 is billed as listing
the UK's 50 'most influential and innovative CIOs driving business
through technology with their outstanding leadership ability, and
impeccable delivery and execution track records'. The Socitm seven
were: President Steve Palmer, Past President Richard Steel, Vice
President Jos Creese, Futures Chair Glyn Evans, LCIO Council members
Dylan Roberts and Kay Brown, and Socitm London activist and events
committee member David Wilde.
