Socitm Head of Policy gives evidence to PASC Inquiry

Socitm Head of Policy Martin Ferguson has given evidence as part of a local IT expert panel to the Public Administration Select Committee inquiry into the way in which Government develops IT policy.
The inquiry is addressing the Government's overall approach to information technology including how it identifies business needs, the effectiveness of governance arrangements, and procurement policy and practice.
The other panelists were Socitm members Mark Adams-Wright, CIO at Suffolk CC, and David Wilde, CIO at Westminster Council.
