Socitm appoints Head of Commercial Development

Karl Grundy has joined Socitm in the newly-created role of Head of Commercial Development and Business Relationships. He joins Socitm from a similar role at mySociety.
His appointment completes the new senior team at Socitm, following the appointments of Martin Ferguson as Head of Policy and Ellen Jessett as Head of Membership last year. Karl will be responsible for developing revenue from commercial relationships with ICT supplier organisations and from events, publications and other commercial activities. Revenue generated will enable Socitm to put greater resources into its work to support members' professional development, its policy work and its research into ICT strategy and management best practice.
