Scott, 22, wins Graham Williamson Challenge 2009

IT Assistant Scott Mansfield, a member of the web team at Leeds City Council, has won this year’s Graham Williamson Challenge, Socitm’s learning-through-travel award.
Scott, who has a degree in Information Systems, supports schools with the use of their online learning environments. Scott will use the opportunity to travel to see how technology impacts upon education and the curriculum in a different country and culture. Socitm will be using its international connections to help Scott identify contacts to support his plans, and a senior member of Socitm will mentor him throughout his involvement in the scheme.
