Important changes announced for Better connected 2013

Socitm Insight has announced a number of important changes to the way Better connected, its annual survey of all local authority websites, will be run in 2012/13.
We confirm the tasks that Socitm Insight has selected as the main topics for next year's survey of the state of council websites. We also announce a significant policy change: we are to discontinue the practice of listing results for all councils in the survey report for those that do not subscribe to Socitm Insight or pre-order their report by Fri 19 October.
