Meet Socitm’s new Head of Membership at Socitm 2009

Socitm has appointed a new Head of Membership. Ellen Jessett will be coming to Socitm 2009 (Edinburgh 11-13 October) to meet members ahead of her start date on November 1.
Ellen, a former Chief Executive of the Institution of Fire Engineers,
has been appointed to implement Socitm's plans to extend membership to
ICT and related professionals across the public and third sectors, and
at all stages of their careers. This is the first time the Socitm has
had a full time Head of Membership, and the new post is one of three
created this year to develop Socitm's management team. The two others
are Head of Policy (filled by Martin Ferguson in May) and Head of
Business Relationships and Commercial Development, which is currently
