Socitm Membership Survey 2012: What do members value most ...

In January 2012 we conducted a survey of members, which attracted 120 responses - thank you to all who took the time to reply. The results of this questionnaire are available to Socitm members.
The Membership Board were very pleased with the results of the survey, the first addressed to all members for some years. Not only was the response rate good, but our members were overwhelmingly positive about Socitm's services and the way the society is run, no mean achievement in view of the severe cost cutting that has had to be imposed recently.
At the same time there were many constructive comments, which have been forwarded to the relevant business managers and which will be very helpful in improving services such as the web site. As well as contacting individuals on specific areas of interest, the Membership Board will let all members know over coming months what changes are being introduced as a result of the survey.
We intend to repeat the survey annually and if you would like to see any changes in it for next year please let the survey team know;
