Introduction
The purpose of Socitm Insight is
- to identify and promote good practice in the management of ICT in the local public sector
- to promote ICT as a catalyst for transforming local public services
- to provide information and advice in the form of publications
- to influence decision makers locally and nationally ... all in the support of Socitm's objectives
Our products take the form of publications, printed and electronic, and valued added services related to those publications. The topics are focused very much on strategic issues related to the transformation of local public services. In particular, we aim to provide guidance to subscribers about issues that are just over the horizon in order to help them plan better for the future.
There is a core subscription service supplemented by additional services such as benchmarking and website services.
