What is Accredited Membership...
A new membership structure with added value!
Socitm's accredited membership offers members the opportunity to gain professional recognition through its post nominal attributions scheme; dependant on what stage of your ICT career you're at, young professional or graduate, supervisor or team leader, manager or CIO, you could become an accredited Associate Member, Member, Senior Member or Fellow Member...
Your accreditation grade is ascertained by assessment of how your role, achievements and responsibilities link to the levels set out in the SFIA framework; A UK government backed IT skills standard, whose model is used for describing and managing competencies of ICT.
Socitm has also developed a Web Skills Framework to provide similar assessment and recognition for those who work in web teams; we are the only professional association to provide such accreditation for web professionals.
