Membership Card
All new members receive a personalised membership card once their membership subscription has been received. The membership card is re-issued each year when membership has been renewed.

The membership card is a passport to all Regional events and gives access to a wide range of membership benefits. The membership card also confirms membership to colleagues and other contacts and reinforces the message that Socitm recognizes members as individuals.
Socitm's members are firmly at the heart of the Society and part of an expanding network of influencers and enablers now spanning local authorities, central government, third sector, emergency services and private sector suppliers. The Society's agenda and activities are firmly focused on furthering members' professional standing, influence and capacity to transform public services for the better.
Widening membership services and providing more opportunities for involvement are priorities and other initiatives include:
· Option to take up an accredited designation giving professional recognition through post nominal letters
· Access to mentoring
· Enhanced CPD scheme to support personal and professional progression
· Opportunity for new or continued participation in the Socitm regional networks
· Development of additional professional communities and interest groups
