Priority policy areas
Introduction
Socitm's priority policy areas are formulated by Socitm Futures. These policy areas are constantly evolving in response to the changing environment in which the Society and its members operate. Currently, they comprise:
- Envisioning and championing the shape of Tomorrow's Public Services - improving outcomes, multi-agency collaboration, partnerships, etc.
- Information management and assurance - data handling, security, privacy, etc.
- Efficiency - driving down costs - and sustainability - including Green ICT.
- Shared infrastructure and standards - Government Connect, Public Sector Network, G-cloud, Government Applications Store, etc.
- Citizen engagement/access to services.
