This year's Spring Conference, will focus on collaboration and digital enablement of local public services. The conference programme will deliver a mix of presentations for our audience to gain insight into what people are doing and could do, to improve outcomes.
Tom Loosemore, Deputy Director, GDS, will be presenting on the work they are doing to drive change within government through the effective use of digital management techniques and technology. There will be a number of presentations highlighting the issues some authorities experienced when trying to share with others, be them public or private sector, to enable delegates to challenge current thinking and plans for the future.
As well as conference style sessions, we will continue with the successful discussion tables, that will run twice during the day, giving each delegate the opportunity to attend two tables on two different topics, to enable networking and the sharing of ideas with peers and suppliers.
Just before lunch, we will have our Annual General Meeting, which will see our new President sworn in for the coming year. The President, will set their core plans for the year ahead for the Society of IT management.
In the evening, our new President will host a dinner for some of our supporters and volunteers.
Please view the programme for further details of the day
