Jos Creese
Jos Creese - Immediate Past President
Jos Creese is the CIO for Hampshire County Council and the president of SOCITM 2010/11. In addition to running the IT group of technology and business professionals, Jos supports a variety of business change programmes enabled by IT for the County Council.
Jos has over 20 years of IT management experience, and has worked for central government, district and unitary councils. He is a member of the Government CIO Council and chairs the Local Public Service CIO Council which he set up in 2008. A regular speaker at national and international events, Jos is an advocate for the need for changing approaches to IT leadership to reflect the changing role of IT demanded by private and public sectors alike.
Jos enjoys jazz, composing music, cooking, sailing, running and triathlons. He is a college governor and is married with two children.
