Tony Riding
Tony Riding - Socitm Insight Principal Associate
Tony Riding is an independent consultant, ex-Chair of Socitm Yorkshire and Humber and now provides support to the regional group. He is Principal Associate with Socitm Insight and Socitm Consulting, applying his experience in e-government, organisational development, regional working, CRM, call centres, electronic service delivery and members information systems. Tony is author of a number of Socitm Insight reports including Improving Customer Service. As a consultant Tony has undertaken assignments for the GLA, Birmingham City Council, and a range of unitary, district and county councils. For five years Tony was Chief IT Officer with Leeds City Council and prior to joining Leeds he was Director of Information at Wakefield Health Authority. He has also worked in higher education and for IT suppliers as well as with Northamptonshire County Council.
