Karl Grundy - Head of Commercial

Karl's primary responsibilities focus upon managing our relationships with supplier members and development of our commercial activities. Prior to joining Socitm he worked for a number of companies whose activities within the public sector included research, events, publishing & consulting. Karl's knowledge and experience in these areas match the current and future requirements of the Society's developing lines of business.

Karl has spent most of his career in and around the Public Sector market, joining Socitm from mySociety where he was Commercial Director, along with previous senior positions at Mintel, Kable/Government Computing (Guardian) & Incisive Media.

He has been involved in strategic commercial activities with and to public sector clients and has advised organisations selling into the public sector, giving him some unique insights into this rewarding and complex sector.
