Membership Board
The Membership Board leads and coordinates Socitm's membership activities and development. It oversees membership criteria and the applications process; develops and manages Socitm's engagement with the broader government professionalism agenda; and is responsible for ensuring ongoing development and delivery of a range of member services.
The Society is in the process of consultation with other professional bodies and advisors as we continue developments towards robust and meaningful CPD and mentoring schemes and information will be made available as this work continues.
The board will also oversee the development of a range of new Socitm 'Communities', groups of members with particular interests who will benefit from the structure and opportunities afforded by being in a managed community. We are in various stages of development for the following communities:
- Third sector
- Web designers, programmers and technicians
- Information security
- Suppliers
