This is a practical course, aimed at those who will be involved in detailed implementation of effective skills management as part of the Government IT profession.
The development of IT professionalism across every part of government is one of the three main themes of the Transformational Government strategy. The work programme addressing this theme covers all parts of government and every person involved in delivering successful IT services in government. Mary Wintershausen's course looks at the use of the Skills Framework for the Information Age SFIA in delivering excellence through the pursuit of IT professionalism.
